While FertiSorb is not organic, its environmental impact is minimized because by incorporating nutrient into the polymer, up to 6 times less fertilizer is needed to grow beautiful and healthy plants. Conventional water soluble or slow release fertilizers leach out of the root zone and into the water table.

Organic v. Inorganic: Plants, like any living thing, must convert organic material into inorganic elements (nitrogen, phosphorus, etc.) in order to obtain the nutrients they need to survive. Regardless of what kind of organic fertilizer a person chooses to use, it must be broken down into inorganic elements before it can be taken up by a plant’s roots.
